A Ministry of Life Transformation Through: Clergy Consultation and Education

Still Waters provides on-going consultation and support for those in ministry. These services come in a variety of forms, including:

Individual Consultation: Clergy and professional religious workers often need additional assistance with a particular pastoral care situation. Still Waters provides one-time or on-going consultation services tailored to your specific needs and goals.

Group Consultation: Still Waters recommends up to eight clergy or professional religious workers in the same location form an on-going consultation group. Once this group is established, we can create a format tailored to the group’s particular needs and goals

Pastoral Care Specialist Certification: This training program is designed for persons who are already functioning as a parish minister, rabbi, or military chaplain, or who are credentialed as institutional chaplains. Still Waters will assist them in sharpening and advancing their pastoral care skills through obtaining the Pastoral Care Specialist Certification (offered by the American Association of Pastoral Counselors). The requirements for this certification are:

Educational degrees as required by applicant's religious body

Active relationship to a local religious community

Completion of 50 hours of specialized training in a variety of supportive pastoral care topics such as brief term, supportive counseling methods, crisis intervention, divorce recovery, etc.

Still Waters Counseling Ministries will offer the required training for groups of six to twelve participants. Recruit your own group or contact Still Waters to learn when the next class is forming.
